Forecasting that tells the truth about all your money.
To help avoid your bank flagging the activity as suspicious, we limit account refreshes to no more than one every 2 minutes.
You can refresh this account again in --.
Every refresh pulls your current bank balance, live. Your recent transactions come along too — but some banks share those more slowly than the balance, even on a live refresh.
So if a recent purchase isn't listed yet, don't panic! Your balance already reflects it, so your Good to Go stays accurate. The transaction will appear once your bank releases it.
Some banks — including USAA and Capital One — don't share pending transactions with our data provider at all. Purchases from those accounts show up only once they post (usually a day or two), but your balance still updates right away — so refreshing won't pull a pending charge into the list no matter how many times you try.
If anything ever looks off, your bank's own app is the final word.

Applied to every transaction this rule matches, for every user.
This bank doesn't share your credit limit with us. Enter it here and we'll show your available credit (limit minus what you owe).
An account you keep up to date yourself. Pockets won't connect to your bank for it — you enter transactions by hand — but it counts toward Good to Go and funds your pockets just like a linked account.
What's in the account right now. Transactions you add later will adjust it.
Used to show your available credit. Leave blank if you'd rather not track it.
For a charge your bank already shows as pending that hasn't synced to Pockets yet. We'll match it to the real transaction when it posts.
Planning for a bill you haven't been charged for yet (like an upcoming ACH payment)? Set that money aside in a Pocket instead — a manual pending is only for charges your bank has already registered.
Pockets can learn to read your bank's charge alerts so they turn into pending transactions automatically.
We look at the notifications on your phone right now — nothing is typed and nothing is stored. So first, make sure a recent charge/debit alert from your bank is showing in your notifications. If it isn't, make a small purchase (or come back right after your bank pings you), then scan.
No bank charge alerts found in your notifications right now. Come back right after your bank sends you a charge alert — or trigger a small purchase — then scan again.
Tap the notification that's your bank's charge/debit alert (skip refunds and deposits):
Tap the words in the alert that are the amount. Pick a field below, then tap its part of the message.
To turn your bank's charge alerts into pending transactions, Pockets needs Notification access.
On the next screen, find Pockets in the list and switch it on, then come back and try again. Pockets only reads the alert text on your device — nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
Pick the real transaction this placeholder matches. Its pocket link moves to that transaction, and the placeholder is removed.
has 0 linked transactions. Pick what to do with them.
Absolute-value search: $5–$50 matches both +$10 and −$10. To match only debits or only credits, combine this with the Transaction type filter.
Recurring transactions we noticed in your history that don't have a pocket yet. Accept creates the pocket as-is; Review opens the editor so you can tweak before saving.
Unlinked transactions that look like they belong to this pocket. Accept links the transaction (no balance change). Dismiss hides it from this list.
Every Pocket is funded by every schedule unless you limit it. Spending Funds and Savings Goals are funded by one.
With no previous purchases to teach us what belongs here, we couldn't link a transaction to this Pocket to advance its due date.
Pick the transaction this Pocket was expecting and we'll link it for you.
After the first one, we'll take it from there and advance this Pocket automatically.
Upload a CSV exported from your bank. Most banks let you download transactions from Account → Statements or Activity → Export. We'll auto-detect the columns; you can adjust before importing.
Required: amount, date. Map any column to (skip) to ignore it.
Default = your oldest existing transaction on this account, so the import doesn't duplicate already-synced data. Clear it to import everything.
Thank you for taking the time to write in. Pockets by Hoopy is built by one person, and every message is read — bug reports, half-formed ideas and blunt opinions all welcome.
This will return the transaction amount to this pocket.

Whatever is left in these Pockets moves into this Savings Goal on payday, then each one is refilled to its full Need.
Every purchase on this card automatically moves that money from Good to Go into a credit card pocket — so it's set aside and ready when your bill is due. Link an existing pocket, or create a new one.
Pockets are auto-funded on each scheduled pay date, but with Fund Now you can trigger the funding process whenever you like.
Useful when your paycheck arrives early, you're freelancing without a predictable payday, or you just want your Pockets funded in advance.
Catch Up tops up any pocket that's fallen behind its ideal funding line — the amount it should hold today given how far into its cycle it is.
Useful after borrowing from a pocket, missing a paycheck, or starting a pocket mid-cycle. One click restores every pocket to its on-track amount so your next funding cycle lands as planned.
This removes every dollar you've Pocketed, setting each pocket's balance to $0. It's a full reset — useful if your numbers drift or you want to re-fund from scratch.
Your pocket Needs, schedules, and linked transactions are not affected — just the Pocketed balances. Afterwards, running Catch Up restores each pocket to where it should be based on how far into its cycle it is.

Good to Go is the money you can spend freely right now.
It takes your total bank balance and subtracts everything you've set aside in your Pockets — bills, savings goals, anything you're planning for.
What's left is yours to use without worry.
Balances are reported by your bank and may not reflect very recent transactions. You can refresh from the Profile tab.
You have unsaved changes to this pocket. If you leave now they'll be lost.
